Description: Peter, as a shepherd of Christians in Israel and Asia Minor, is particularity                concerned about false teachers and evildoers who have come into the church.  He also encourages the Christians, both Jews and Gentiles due to the increased Roman persecution and tells them that the Lord is certain to return, so believers are to be watchful.
